Back in the Saddle

Just returned from leading 30 Kiwis around the Oamaru area for a geology fieldtrip. Great trip. Stunning landscape. Phenomenal geology.

One thing that you might not know is that Oamaru is a bastion for the Steampunk culture.

Since the university campus is still closed due to the earthquake, fieldtrips were asked to run early. Hence the Oamaru trip. Next week, we get to teach in tents. They are very nice tents, but tents nonetheless.

Still Here

If you have been reading our blog, you might be wondering what we have been up to since our last post.

How are we coping? What's it like in Christchurch? Is pooing into a plastic bag as much fun as Rocky makes it?

To answer:

We are doing fine. Christchurch will not be the same for a long time. And there's nothing like the warmth of your own poo sitting one inch away from your butt.

We will post more in the future, but we wanted to assure ya'll that we are all safe.

Quick note: We are working diligently on the Peezer. It has been a labor of love with all its knobs, valves and suction cups. Much more complicated than the Poozer.
