Work at my job is great (period). Everyday I wake up excited to interact with grad students and colleagues, to collaborate and to think big. My teaching load is manageable and I get to teach in my realm of expertise. And it's true what Wordy said in the previous post, the tea breaks are a nice way to break up the day.
With no tenure system here, no more playing Survivor like in the states. You don't have to worry about being voted off. Once you're in the system, you're in for good.
Most importantly, this job allows me to spend more time with Wordy and The Squidd compared to my other job. This is priceless to me.
I know. Cliche and corny, but absolutely true.
